Introduction

If you're on this page then you have likely configured your first instance of BareMetal Cloud.

The first thing you'll want to do is to install the BareMetal Cloud Orchestrator.

Orchestrator:

Prerequisites

pip install flask

or

sudo apt install python3-flask

Starting

cd web
python3 app.py

Open your web browser to http://HOSTNAME:8080

Command Line

Run bmc-cmd to interact with a BareMetal instance:

./bmc-cmd

Using

List server entries

./bmc-cmd list

Add server entry

./bmc-cmd add HOSTNAME/IP TOKEN FRIENDLY_NAME

Remove server entry

./bmc-cmd add HOSTNAME/IP

Dispatch a program

./bmc-cmd dispatch HOSTNAME/IP PROGRAM

Note: The program needs to be in the same directory as bmc-cmd.

Start the program

./bmc-cmd execute HOSTNAME/IP
